February sees quieter times and if you like walking this can be a great time of year for some solitude, the hills look stunning with their covering of snow but PLEASE if you do go walking at this time of year take all the usual precautions. When you do get back to the town it can be easier to get accommodation ( us hopefully ) and eat in the restaurant of your choice (it also means we get an opportunity to take a break ourselves !) to see whats coming up in the future check out the “Visit Moffat” website www.visit.moffat.co.uk and come along, stay with us, and join in !
Our Low Season Rates now apply ( £35 single occupancy* and £55 double occupancy* ) until the end of March and If you are planning to visit Moffat in 2012 its always a good idea to book your accommodation in advance as we are already taking bookings for next year !
We have been awarded a Four star rating from the A.A. after an undercover visit from one of their Hotel Inspectors, the wall plaque has arrived and is proudly displayed outside the House, over the winter months we plan to convert one more Bedroom to an en-suite guest room so ,if all goes to plan, next year all our Guest Bedrooms will be en-suite, in addition we now have WiFi access throughout the house which is available to guests free of charge. We welcome small well behaved Pets ( Please contact us for more details ) we also offer quality packed lunches and ( for walkers ) a kit transfer service to your next location ( a luggage free walk is much more enjoyable, trust us we know!) with all this and with our high season rates unchanged for the third year ! we look forward to seeing you soon.
